Submit a spot

Tell us about a van life spot in Ireland that other van lifers should know about. We'll vet it before it goes anywhere public — existence, ownership, legality, and current behaviour of the spot.

We're building a community-vetted directory of Irish van life spots — legal wild-camping car parks, friendly farmers' fields, harbour spots, hidden caravan parks. Every submission is reviewed before publication. We don't publish spots that are on private land without owner permission, that have specific local-authority signage prohibiting overnight parking, or that the existing community has flagged as problem locations.

We'll review and reply within a week. If we publish it, we'll credit you (first name + county) unless you ask us not to. We don't publish your email or full name. See privacy.

What we won't publish. Spots on private land without explicit landowner permission, spots that have specific local-authority signage prohibiting overnight parking, spots inside National Parks, spots that are already at carrying capacity (where adding more vans would ruin the place for everyone). Also: spots described as "the secret place near X" without enough detail for us to verify.
